曹幼鴒
Yulin Tsao, Principal
自輔仁大學(Fu-Jen
Catholic University, Taiwan)企管系畢業後曾任教於台南商職,臺北松山商職各二年而後到羅斯福大學(Roosevelt Univ. Chicago, Ill)進修會計,回國任台南成功大學講師一
年。
自1995年鑒於子女學習中文的需要,加入當時唯一的社區中文學校(南康州中文學校)的教學,
至今已八年
。次年(1996)參與康州史坦福市(Stamford)實驗中學(Magnet Middle School)
中文教學一年。因康州中文教學基金的緊縮,就把中文與中國文化融合起來,配入六年級社會學課程。五~六星期一個單元將夏商周秦漢數朝滲入中國地理與科技、陶瓷、絲、茶及儒教思想的討論,由深而淺,實際示範的方式教學,生動有趣。因在中國新年前後外加一星期與美術或音樂老師的合作,每年做一個創新的短節目,舞龍(由做龍開始)舞獅,古婚禮等等。又和科學老師一起塑立體中國地圖以中文標示,研究中國地層的變化。
2001年夏季協助Norwalk的Brien McMahon高中辦中文夏令營。曾亦於Stamford高中、初中、小學各學校及社區郵局職工活動,甚至遠到Hartford附近美領養家庭FCC辦的活動做主題演講,以促進社會與青少年對中國的認識與興趣,做到了宣揚中華文化的成果。
After graduated from Fu-Jen University, Taiwan, ROC, Department of
Business Administration, Yulin taught at Tainan Commercial high
school and Song-Shan Commercial high School a year each place. Then
she went to study Accounting at Roosevelt University, Chicago Ill.
After Graduation, she went back to Taiwan became instructor in
Economics at Cheng-Gong University for a year.
Since 1995 in order to encourage her child to study, she started
teaching Chinese at the Chinese Language School of Fairfield County.
A year later, she also started teaching Chinese and Chinese
cultures at Stamford Magnet Middle School.
In 2001 she also taught in
Summer School of Brien McMahon for Chinese Studies.
In 2004, she applied and was award as the best teacher of the year
by Chinese Language School Association. She
currently lives in Stamford, CT with her husband, son and daughter.
She also teaches Chinese in Bridgeport University. |

陳宏維
William Chen
William came from Taiwan with his parents when he was seven. He
finished elementary, middle school and New Canaan High School.
William received his Bachelor
degree of Chinese History from Brown University and Master degree of
Asian Study from Columbia University. He taught Chinese language in
Hunter University 2007 Summer. He also went through a very
intensive Chinese Teacher training program at Nanjing University in
2008 Summer. He has helped CLSFC students in their speech contest
writing for the past two years. He has a very deep knowledge of Chinese
History. He enjoys teaching Chinese to students. He is a
volunteer of OCAFC newsletter and currently resides in New
Canaan. |

林春梅
Angela Lin
Angela Lin is a graduate of Soochow University with a BA in Economics in
Taiwan and an MBA from Sacred Heart University.
She has been a CLS-FC teacher for 6 years.
She is currently teaching lass of Ai?in the school.
Ms. Lin received the Senior Teacher Award from Association of Chinese
Schools in 2005. She
resides in
Darien, Ct. with her husband and two sons. |

Fei Chuan Lo (Xin-class)
Born and raised in Taiwan, I
received my Bachelor・s Degree in Chinese Language and Literature at National
Taiwan University, in Taipei. I have taken courses toward Master Degree in
Education at University of Bridgeport.
My teaching experience began with teaching 7th grade
Chinese at Mei Shan Middle School in Taiwan. Later, as an enthusiastic Ox
Ridge School classroom helper and library volunteer, I enjoy working with
children. Although this is my first year as a teacher in CLS-FC, it is my 6th
year as a parent in this school.
A happy, abundant and profound Chinese learning adventure for our bilingual
children is always one of my educational priorities.
She lives in Darien, CT. with her husband and son. |

彭明美Alice
Peng Chen
Alice was born in Taiwan and graduated from National Cheng Chi
University with a BA in Banking. She taught 7th grade at Hsin-Chu
First Girl Middle School and then grew a career at the Bank of Taiwan, Head
Office. She moved to the U.S. in 1978 with her husband and children, and
obtained an MS in Computer Science at Lehigh University, PA in 1981. She was
a Senior Programmer Analyst and Data Base Administrator for 15 years at
several leading companies, including Honeywell, Westinghouse Electric Corp,
Merrill Lynch, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Kraft Food. At the same time, she
taught Chinese language on Sundays at Li-Ming Chinese Language School in
Fort Washington, PA.
Alice has been working at Contek International Corp. in New Canaan
since 1997 and continues pursue broad interests in philosophy, Buddhism,
Community Bible Study and psychology. After completing eighteen course
cycles over seven years with The Asian Classic Institute, New York City
(1997-2004), she taught Applied Meditation at Norwalk Community Technology
College from 2004-2005. She enjoys retreats and sharing the benefit of
meditation with others. After creating and sharing a slideshow at her
daughter wedding last summer, she was reminded of the value of Chinese
School for individual enrichment so she resumed teaching Chinese language in
the fall of 2005.

唐靜宜
Jean Tang
Ms. Jean
Tang received a Bachelor degree in Chinese Literature from Soochow
University in Taiwan. She also
holds a Master degree in Information System from Northeastern University.
She has been teaching Chinese at Chinese Language School of
Fairfield County since 2000. She feels the most rewarding aspect of
teaching is to witness the change and progress in her students. Especially
those who were initially hesitant or disinterested in speaking Mandarin have
become more willing to comprehend, respond, and even ask questions.
She was one of the winners in the National classic poem contest for
College student during her sophomore year in college.
Additionally, she has many years experience in Information Technology
area and worked for a International Financial Institution as a director in
Information Technology. She
currently lives in Darien, CT with her husband, son and daughter. |

Yen-Tin Wang
Born in Taiwan, Yen-ting received her BA in
History from National Chengchi University in Taiwan. She was a
certified middle school teacher in Taiwan and also passed the
National High Examination for Civil Service in the category of
Historical Data Compilers.
Besides being a teacher with CLS-FC since 1997, Yen-ting has also
taught at Westport Continuing Education, Fairfield Continuing
Education, and Berlitz Language Centers. Her educational goal is to
foster students’ life-long interest and appreciation in learning
Chinese language and culture. |

Ying-xian Wu
Born in Shengyang, China, Ying-xian started showing her interest in
art at an early stage. She received her BA in Industrial Design from
Shenyang Institute of Aeronautical Engineering and went to Shanghai,
working as an industial designer. Later on, She also worked as an
interior designer and display designer. In 1999, she went to Tongji
University to pursue her MA of Industrial Design. During that
period, she was seleced to join an industry design workshop for
future college teachers.
After receiving her MA degree, Yingxian joined Shanghai Institute
of Design and China Academy of Art to be a design instructor. She
also served as deputy director of the college's Industrial Design
Program before she left for the States at the end of 2003.

熊山卉 Shanhui
Xiong
出生在湖南長沙,少年時曾住東北沈阳。清華大学理科学士,
耶魯大学物理博士。曾在Pace
University
任兼職教授,教科学史与科学哲学。自2003年開始在本中文学校任教,教特別班(国語会話)及故事戲劇文化課,曾担任副校長。
喜好詩歌写作,文学翻譯,科学普及教育。She currently resides in New Canaan with her husband
son and daughter. |
