January 30, 2006 -- Stamford Advocat - Sing For The New Year - by Steven Daniel "Christine Kao and Margaret Zhang, both 5, sing with classmates yesterday during a Chinese New Year celebration at Rippowam Middle School."

January 29, 2006 -- For the Dog.  Area residents gather to celebrate Chinese New Year by James Lomuscio, Sepcial Correspondent: Norwalk - Chinese New Year is so integral to Chinese-American culture that "not go celebrate it would be a tremendous loss," says San San Yu of Weston. "It is really meaningful and a great pleasure to celebrate it with so many people together in American," said Yu, Principal of the Stamford-based Chinese Language of Fairfield County. "We also want first- and second-generation Chinese-Americans to feel the mood and to keep their traditions in places other than in their homes." Yu was one the nearly 400 adults and children who attended the official Chinese New Year's Eve last night at Contiental Manor to bid farewell to the year of the rooster and ring in the year of the dog, which is numerically 4704."

September 2004 --We will be offering a new Xiao ban class that will specialize in teaching Hanyu Pinyin and simplified characters. The class will run alongside our current Xiao ban and have similar curriculums and activities. 

Spring 2004 --One of our teachers, Mrs. Yulin Tsao won the Best Teacher Award of 2004 from the Associate of Chinese Schools, East Division. She was chosen from over 100 candidates, one from each school. All candidates were required to submit teaching plans, teaching result evaluations and recommendations from colleagues and community leaders. Congratulations, Mrs. Tsao!

Spring 2004 --One of our graduates, Shi-Ya Huang won the Best Student Award from the Association of Chinese Schools. Congratulations!

February 2004 --We are excited to announce the opening of our first Nursery class for 3-4 year olds. Two new teachers have been hired to run the class, and both have gone through professional training and experiences.

September 2003 --A new Zhong ban class is now being offered alongside our normal class, specializing in Hanyu Pinyin teaching.
